Born in Portland, Maine, I grew up just like most kids - with a hockey stick in one hand, and a lobster in the other.  At an early age, I always had a passion for writing and after graduating from Portland High School, I attended the University of New Hampshire to study journalism.  My education quickly turned to television, where I carved out a career for the next 22 years.  But writing was always in the back of my mind.

Inspired by my own 2 boys, Petimals rekindled the fire I’ve always had for writing, and more specifically, children’s books. Dogopotamus, Hamstigator, Elephitten and Frogadillo are just the first of many books I plan to write in the Petimals series.  I can’t wait to see where the series will go!

I now live in Littleton, Colorado with my wife Eileen and 2 boys, Zack and Coby.
